How to create a manual deck (step by step)
From dashboard to "ready to study" in five steps.
Open the create modal
From your dashboard, click the "Create new deck" button. A modal will pop up asking you whether to use AI or build manually. Choose Build it manually.
Set deck details
Give your deck a title (required, minimum 2 characters), an optional subject like "Biology" or "AP US History", a description, tags, and choose whether it should be public or private.
Add your cards
You start with two empty card slots. For each one, type the front (the term, question, or prompt) and the back (the definition, answer, or explanation). Optionally upload an image to either side using the image button.
Reorder, duplicate, delete
Use the drag handle on the left of each card to reorder. Use the icon buttons to duplicate or delete a card. Add new cards at the bottom with one click.
Save and study
Once you have at least 2 cards with both sides filled, the Save button activates. Click it and your deck is live. You can study it immediately, share it, or come back and edit later.

Use Tab to fly through cards
Tab jumps from front to back to the next card. You can build a 30-card deck without ever touching the mouse.
It works great on phone
Long-press any card to drag it. The editor stacks vertically so it is actually usable on a small screen — unlike most flashcard apps.
