How do I study for the MCAT with flashcards?

    Short answer

Generate flashcards from your prep books (Kaplan, TPR, Khan Academy) as you do content review, use image occlusion for pathways and amino acids, and run 100–300 daily reviews via SRS. Most 515+ scorers have 3,000–5,000 mature cards by test day.

The MCAT rewards endurance over raw memorization, but the content load (bio, biochem, gen chem, ochem, physics, psych, soc) is too large to internalize without a recall system. Flashcards + spaced repetition is the proven solution.

Generate one deck per chapter or topic. Use cloze deletion for formulas, image occlusion for amino acids and pathways, and Q/A for psych/soc terminology.
